History in 4th grade covers California State History.  We begin with CA Geography and Regions.  Our next unit covers Early Americans in CA, as well as early explorers and settlers of our state.  We move into the Mission Era, the Ranchos, and Peublos, and how they affected the development of CA.  Next is the popular unit, the Gold Rush.  Later in the year we study statehood.

Mrs. Harvey will be teaching history to the C-4, C-6, and C-7 homerooms in a rotation schedule every morning 9:10 - 11:05.
