Buckeye and SW's home ~ The Terminal Tower

This picture shows the exact location of the nest box (see yellow circle).  The nest is on the 12th floor of the 52 floor, 708 feet tall, building which was constructed in 1930 in downtown Cleveland.  The nest faces the Public Square.  T.T. was the tallest building in the world outside of New York City until 1967 and remains a significant landmark.  It is the second tallest building in Cleveland, and the state.  Terminal Tower was originally the railroad terminal but now houses offices, a hotel, retail shops, and the underground public transportation base for Cleveland.  Click to read more about the Terminal Tower.
In addition to this pair of nesting falcons there are several more around Cleveland and many in the state that are monitored.  Click here to read the results of past seasons.
