Now, at about 10 days old, the eyases are being left in the nest box alone more and more but SW and/or Buckeye are always close by. The parents will continue to bring them food and help them eat, but they don't need as much warmth now ... good thing since they are too big to all fit under SW! |

At about 2 weeks old, the eyases' vision is very sharp now and they recognize Mom and Dad. Like any baby animal, they are fascinated by anything that moves... and are becoming more active. "Ledge walking" is not far behind! |
