It was rainy off
and on all day today. Mr. Wright was at the nest
site for the better part of the day and caught this
picture below of Buckeye. |
![]() Mr. Wright also took the picture above ~ one of the many times Buckeye flew in for a visit today. We noticed SW seemed restless
today - on and off of the eggs a lot. This was
likely because her second egg is due any time. Mr.
Wright reported she looked like she was in labor several
times. You can see evidence of this by looking at
our "time on / time off" log on our |

Peregrines
lay 3-5 eggs ... SW usually lays 4 ... That would put the next egg arriving 3/18/06. Active incubation should start today, although they have not been off the eggs very much over the past 2 days. See data. |

The temperature today never got over 30°! No wonder the birds continue to sit very tightly on the eggs. IF there are 5 eggs, it was very hard to tell today. |
