Up and out early ...

Now that our four juveniles are not as dependent on Mom and Dad it is getting harder and harder to catch them at home...  They are out walking the ledges and will soon be testing those wings.  We can all breathe a sigh of relief that they are continuing to thrive.  The mortality rate of peregrine falcons in their first year is sadly high.  We continue to hope they will continue to do well and one day raise families of their own.  We will continue to monitor the nest, however pictures may not be as regular as they have been so far ...

As of June 1, Mr. Wright reports that all four babies are officially flying!  So ends another successful nesting season and project.  thanks to all in Cleveland for their loyal support.  the students will continue to add work to the site for the next few weeks...
