WE HAVE A BABY!!
Sometime between sundown 4/19 and sunrise 4/20 the first egg hatched.  Since the baby is dry and "fluffed out" is is probably 4-5 hours old in the first pictures.

4/20  7:55 am
First time we see the baby

4/20 7:59 am  SW off / Buckeye on
"OK, you watch the kid for a minute."

4/20  4:06 pm  SW

4/ 20  4:16 pm
Second hatch confirmed!

4/ 20  4:20 pm
2 ... and maybe a third on its way ~ looks like a tiny pip right near the scrap on the egg in front of Dad

4/20 7:12 pm
3 hours later #3 is present ~ that little pink blob in between the 2 egg shells in the front

4/20  7:16 pm  SW
has her hands (beak) busy now with 2 hungry mouths to feed and the third drying off
What an exciting day ... We woke up to find the first eyas hatched out over night, then 2 more came along today.  SW laid 4 eggs and last year and 3 hatched.  Maybe by tomorrow this 4th baby will be here ... The babies get fed every couple of hours ... wondering if that goes on all night, 24/7, just as with humans, or do the eyases sleep through the night?

4/21  6:35 am

4/21  6:42 pm

4/21  6:48 pm
Kisses good night and a little prayer for your sibling
Thoughts ~
1 egg laid 3/12 ..... first egg hatched 4/19

2nd & 3rd eggs laid by 3/18 ..... 2 hatched 4/20, in 33 days

4th egg laid 3/19 ..... 4/21 was 33rd day of incubation ..... falcon eggs take on the average, 33 - 35 days to hatch.  Therefore, the last egg could hatch any time

Last year SW "kicked" the 4th egg aside when she knew it wasn't going to hatch.

4/22 6:33 am

4/22  1:16 pm

4/22  2:58 pm

MY babies."

4/22 4:08 pm

4/22  4:25 pm

4/22  4:25 pm overhead of same picture to the left - tail feathers

4/22  5:11 pm

4/22 5:12 pm

4/22  5:17 pm

4/22  5:31 pm

4/22  7:57 pm
