Poway has an all girls softball league called Poway Girls Softball.

There are six divisions: T-ball for ages 5-6, Rookies for ages 7-8, Division 1 for ages 10 & under, Division 2 for ages 12 & under, Division 3 for ages 14 & under, and Division 4 for ages 18 & under.  Registration for the spring season usually starts in November with evaluations in February.  The season starts in mid-March and ends in early June.  There are All-Star teams for all divisions.  They have try-outs at the end of April and beginning of May.  Winter softball teams are usually formed in August.  We like playing girls softball because not only is it a lot of fun, but you learn a lot about softball and learn to compete with other girls.  You also get to meet girls from all over Poway.  This year there are approximately 420 girls playing with Poway Girls Softball.
