Poway is a great place for sports! One of our favorites is soccer. Poway has recreational and competitive soccer teams. Last year Mitchell played on a recreational team called the Aztecs. In recreational soccer the players and coaches choose names for the teams, and all of the games are played in Poway. This year Mitchell and Brandon are playing on one of Poway’s competitive teams called the Vaqueros. It is a traveling team so we will play all over San Diego. We will have a lot of fun playing games and tournaments. We have cool uniforms. They are white, black and green.

Poway also has indoor soccer you can play all year. The indoor fields are at North County Soccer Park. Indoor is fun because you can kick the ball off the wall and it comes back to you.
