Poway Days celebrates our city's history and brings the whole community together.  Poway Days lasts for two weeks in September.  My favorite event is the Poway Days Heritage Parade.  Our school decorated a float for that parade a few years ago and won an award!

Lots of kids in our class like the Community Day at Community Park because they have great fireworks at night and you get to do a lot of fun things with all your friends and neighbors who live in Poway.

September 18

7:00-10:00 a.m.  Poway Lions Club Pancake Breakfast at the Weingart Senior Center

September 18

10:00 a.m.  Poway Days Heritage Parade starts at Poway and Pomerado Roads and ends at Poway Community Park

September 18

12:00-8:00 p.m. Community Day in the park with games,
     entertainment, rides, food and booths. Fireworks at 8 p.m.
