If you enjoy hiking and you are looking for trails you have come to the right spot. You should come to Lake Poway. It’s a wonderful place to hike because you have a choice of walking along the shore or in the mountains. I enjoy walking in the mountains because of the breath-taking view of the lake. I like walking along the shore because it is very shady. When you finish hiking there are ducks to feed and food to buy at the little store. It’s a wonderful place to hike and I hope you enjoy it!

My favorite hiking trail is very close to my house.   It even has an old cemetery on the way up!  When you get to the top, you can see a lot of Poway.  What a view!  It is so pretty up there!  There are lots of rocks to climb too.  If you're lucky you may spot a red-tailed hawk soaring high above its territory.

There are about 60 miles of trails to explore in Poway.  These are also open for horseback riding and mountain biking.  I hope you have fun!
