Hi everyone! Welcome to the Kid’s Guide to Poway Healthcare page.  One of the finest hospitals in our area is Pomerado Hospital of Poway. It even has healthcare programs for kids. These programs include S.O.S. Babysitting training, bike safety and a special course in handling emergencies (including CPR).

Pomerado Hospital is where you want to be for an excellent stay with caring staff.

If you need special help for anything they don't have, there are lots of hospitals and clinics nearby.   Scripps Clinic and Research Center is  an excellent facility with world famous doctors and awesome programs for all ages.  Children can use the Children's Hospital in San Diego.  Or, you can also go to the University of California at San Diego Hospital and Clinics for special care.  All those hospitals are 20 to 30 minutes from Poway.  They have some satellite clinics closer to Poway.

If you are planning to move to Poway, healthcare is one less problem to worry about. So whether you are here to live or visit, please know you’ll have a healthful stay.
