MEET THE TEACHER

     Even though we'll have a whole year to get to know each other, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and my family. I grew up bi-coastally (west Los Angeles and the upper westside in New York City); I received my BA in English Literature from Cornell University and an MA in Curriculum Development from UCSD; my favorite colors are blue, red, and purple; dark chocolate is my indulgence; and I love to read, scrapbook, or visit Starbucks with my mom or girlfriend.

              My wonderful husband, Dave, is an entrepreneur who started his own business building hybrid-electric drive train systems 15 years ago. We have two beautiful children. Our daughter, Monique, will be a third grader here at Monterey Ridge. She loves art, writing, dancing, and swimming. As for our son, Henry, he will be a big kindergartner this year. He loves to play soccer, swim, and help his daddy fix anything.
