Fuel Pump

My most recent auto job was replacing the fuel pump of an 89’ Jeep Grand Wagoneer. We noticed the old fuel pump was in operative when we tried to start it after fixing it’s exhaust manifold. I had to move the power-steering pump without removing its hoses and unnecessarily losing power-steering fluid. So I removed the power-steering pumps bracket from the engine block giving me the room I needed to get to the fuel pump. I removed the fuel pump and bench tested it ensuring the fact that it didn’t work, it failed the test and we ordered a new pump. When the new pump arrived I bench tested it and it passed, so I installed it put everything back together. The Jeep now runs fine and is another successful job.

To Whom It May Concern:

Christopher Dehaan has been a student of mine for the past two years. He has worked on our Chrysler Dream Vehicle Team this year. The team made it to the Semi-finals in the national competition. Chris played a very significant role in this placement. During the last two years I have found Chris to be a very mature individual with the ability to perform at a high academic level. He is also able to work well with others and is very helpful with other students. Chris is also a self- starter and works hard until the task at hand has been completed. He enjoys working on complex problems and is good at following directions and using critical thinking skills to trouble shoot various problems. During the last two years he has been in my Engineering Lab every spare minute. He has been able to work not only with high school students, but also with my adult students. I highly recommend Chris and believe that he will be successful in all of his endeavors.

Sincerely, Kenneth Faverty
