TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
After teaching for 1 year in Redlands, CA., I returned to
my home town. I taught at Bernardo Heights Middle School for 10 years, and
this is my 6th year at Mesa Verde. EDUCATIONAL
BACKGROUND I attended UCSB for two
years, then San Diego State. I graduated from SDSU with a degree in
Physical Education.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND:
My family moved to Poway in
1968....it was a small horse town!! I lived on a dirt road that was
traveled by horses and chickens! 
I spent my childhood riding horses and bikes and playing baseball in
the open fields. I attended Twin Peaks Middle School and
graduated from Poway High
School....Yes, I am a former
Titan!!!
My interest in health/fitness began in high
school. I knew I wanted to teach kids about staying active and healthy!
I'm thrilled to be working with the staff and students at Mesa Verde.
