Remove chair and
allow fidgety students to sit on a stabilized therapy ball (students are
receiving sensory feedback and are getting the movement that their body
needs)

Give students who are
prone to “melt-downs” a special area in the classroom where they can access
sensory activities such as “hands in macaroni,” bean bags, penny cans, file
folders etc.

do “heavy work” activities to provide sensory feedback (ex. carry dictionaries
to the library, wall push-ups, chair dips, jump on trampoline)
