TAIGA

Welcome to Room 33's Adventure!
Geography: Human action is having significant impact on the taiga. The taiga is the largest terrestrial biome in the world. Taiga is a belt of coniferous forests found in the northern hemisphere close to the artic tundra.  
                                                          

Animals: There are over 20 kinds of animals that can adapt to the region in their own ways. Here are some of them, American black bear, bald eagle, bobcat, Canadian lynx, gray wolf, grizzly bear, long-eared owl, red fox, snowshoe rabbit, river otter, wolverine.

Plants: There are more than 3,000 plants in the taiga. Here are some of them, 

Weather: The winter is very cold in the Taiga, their are very few days that are warm. The coldest temperatures can reach below zero.

Climate: Because of the very cold weather in the taiga, food is very scarce. It's a difficult life for plants and animals.
