Biography Assignment

Objective: You will create a webpage that describes yourself usin FrontPage

What is needed:

  • You need to organize your information into a table.   Notice that I get a nice border effect on this printed section by using a table with a cell padding and cell spacing.  My table has a background color of purple and the cell that you are reading this information has a background color of teal.

  • Insert a picture of yourself or something you are interested in and align it right or left.  Remember, you can steal pictures off the web and save them to your disk by right clicking on them.
  • A background image. This can be a picture or a clip art
  • Break your page into categories, I suggest these:
    • General Information (birth date, eye color, birthplace, where you have lived
    • Hobbies
    • Educational Background: schools you have attended, favorite teacher
    • Favorite websites
  • Bullets to indent information
  • Links to as many things on your page as possible (obviously your favorite links, birthplace city, old schools, favorite teacher)
You can complete this page in a much easier way than writing all the codes. If you look at this instruction page it has done to it everything that I want you do to to your page. So instead of writing code we are going to copy.  All you have to do is view the source of this page and then save the code to your disk or folder.  Then go back in and change things carefully the way you want them.  I doubt that any of you were born in Calabasas, so your birthplace link shouldn't go to the city of Calabasas like my example does. The bullets can be your categories broken down into sub categories if you need to.  Please try and use a combination of colors that are easy to read, thank you.
