The following is a list of homework that is consistent during the week.  Remember, this is just a reminder, and all homework should still be written on a daily basis in the Binder Reminder.  Any long-range projects will be assigned well in advance.

EVERY DAY:                        Bring a book novel) for silent reading to class.

                                            Review your Geography (current and review!)

MONDAY                        Review your Geography (current and review!)  

TUESDAY                             Spelling pages (pages 2 and 3 of the text of that
                                                        week’s lesson {and any others I assign for that week}) completed and brought to class 

                                              Review your Geography (current and review!)

WEDNESDAY                      Homework for Thursday:
                                                Study  Vocabulary (for test on Thursday)

                                             Review your Geography (current and review!)                                                                                                              

THURSDAY                         Vocabulary test

                                             Review your Geography (current and review!)

FRIDAY                

Nightly homework:

           Review your Geography (current and review!)
           Study vocabulary each night for 10 minutes.
          Read silent reading book or core literature book at least 15 minutes.
          Begin projects or other long term assignments and do a little each night.
            Don’t wait until the last minute!

Binder Reminder:
            Assignments must be written down by the student on the day they are due and available to show teachers/parents every day.
            Long term assignments must be written on the day it is assigned as well.
            The number of each core literature book must be written down when the book is
                checked out.
            Phone numbers of at least 3 ( I suggest 5) study buddies must be written down to call if you miss a day. Don't wait until you get back to find out what you missed!

Binders:

                Students must have their binders in class each day complete with required
                supplies.  After homework is corrected, it should be kept in the binder until the
            unit test.  After the unit test, it should be removed from the binder but kept at
            home for future reference, i.e. studying for a cumulative final in June.
