Here is the "short and sweet" word on conferences.

Dear parents,

        Below is the sched. times for this year's conferences in room 505. It is imperative that I meet with parents and students who are earning less than a C * in my classes. (Conf. times/availability are posted below). First priority will be give to these parents/students but I will try to arrange times to meet with other parents who have an interest. Conf.s will be assigned on a first come (contact me) first served basis.  Please contact me by e-mail (or written note if you choose) to let me know when you would like to come in. You will be more successful if you include at least 4/four times you can meet in case your chosen time is already taken. I will update the sched. daily, starting on Thurs., Oct. 8th, to reflect times already taken.

       All conf.s are sched, for 15 min. During this time I will go over the grade printout of this first quarter's academic grades and give an overview of your child's  observed progress in cit. and effort (according to the cit./effort scale used here at Mesa Verde) in Lang. Arts and Soc. St.  Time permitting, I would also like to review measured "critical" reading levels. Please, sched. any/all conf.s with your child's math, sci., etc.. teachers separately.

      Because of increased class sizes and reduced available conf. times, I ask parents to please arrive on time (really, a few min. early) and I promise to work to keep on sched. Please, note that there is are  5 min. sched. between each conf that is necess. for me to prepare/transition for/to the next conf.  I ask that all parents/staff respect both the sched, and these transition times. It will not be possible to accommodate "walk in" conferences.
