Grades Updates:

Posted grades are for the Progress Notice marking the mid-point of the 1st quarter.  Citizenship grades are on the Language Arts grade page for each student. 

HOMEWORK POLICY :
Please check to see if any assignments / tests are missing due to absence, coupon, or incomplete.  These need to be finished.  Students have only six days from the date of their return to turn in absence / late work.  After that, the work will not be given any credit.

Teaching Experience:

• This is my 31st year in the Poway Unified School District. I began my teaching career at Garden Road Elementary School and taught 5th grade there for sixteen years. I came to Mesa Verde Middle School when the campus opened in 1993, and I have taught 7th grade for fourteen years.

• I have been married to Nancy since 1977. We have two children. Ryan is a junior in college and Kate is a sophomore. Nancy is a sales account manager for Yellow Book, a yellow page publisher.  In my spare time I exercise, read mysteries and science fiction, do crossword puzzles, and write short stories.
