Creekside's 10th Anniversary Dinner/Auction Fundraiser
is scheduled for Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the newly
remodeled
StoneRidge Country Club in Poway.
The event begins at 6:00 pm, and
is guaranteed to be an exciting fun filled night!
There will be incredible
classroom baskets and teacher times to bid on, casino
gaming,
great raffle items and the live auction which includes
bidding on the ever-popular
parking spot...and much, much more.

We are going
to the theater!
March
19, we will go to the Poway Performing Arts Center for
a Metropolitan Educational Theater production of
The Wizard of OZ!
Drew is a
member of the cast. We will be supporting him as
well as seeing a live performance. Please watch
for the field trip notice this week.
Our
simple machine project will be to build
Leprechaun traps using our knowledge of Force and Motion.
Please
help by sending to F5 any "junk" that may be used.
This may include paper towel rolls, empty containers, tin
foil, little boxes of various shapes and sizes, string etc.
The class will build one trap together! I am
encouraging F5 students to take their knowledge home to
apply it to their own Leprechaun trap. These home
projects will be brought to school Tuesday March 16.
The students will present their Traps to the class using
vocabulary from our Force and Motion Unit. Good luck
engineers!
