Fact Monster Games and Quizzes - Great educational games for kids to enjoy and learn at the same time.

Scholastic provides an e-catalog that allows you to search for age appropriate books for any Lexile level. Click on the Genre Type tab to refine your search to the genre we are reading for the month. If the tab takes you back to the entry page, click on "search titles" and then the tabs will work. An excellent way to find titles in the genre you need that are in your lexile level.

Lexile Framework - find out all about lexile levels. Use Quick Search box on the left to find the lexile level for a book. Alternatively, use Book Search if you need to narrow your search.

Math

Fractions Kids - Kids, choose the level of difficulty you need (Easy, Medium, Hard, Super brain) and play fraction games. Great way to practice working with fractions.

This Planet Really Rocks! - an award-winning website on rocks and minerals created by a team of 5th Grade students. It contains games, facts, jokes, and activities. There is loads of interesting information about rocks and minerals.

ExploreScience.com - Interactive science activities in many catagories such as astronomy, electricity and magnetism, cells and plants and more.

Jefferson Lab - Games and Puzzles - some great games and puzzles for learning about elements and the Periodic Table. Math games also included.

All Systems Go Game - A fun online game about human body systems. Help Arnold, who has lost all his organs, by putting the correct organs into his body.

Yucky Gross and Cool Body - Find out about the gross and cool stuff humans' bodies create such as burps, hiccups, bad breath and more. Get answers to many questions that you may have.

Native American Facts for Kids - a great site

Colonial Williamsburg - an interactive exploration of 18th-century American life. Be sure to follow the clothing link and dress colonial characters in clothing appropriate to their place in society, one garment at a time.
