Please remember that the ASES program is open only to those students who are registered and attend regularly.

 

Activity Descriptions:

·          8th Grade HW – a place for the eighth graders to work on homework.  One set of textbooks provided. Eighth graders may also use the library.

·          Annexed! A new game or team-building activity each time.  Located in the annex room off the library.

·          CSI Club – A club for those budding Crime Scene Investigators.  Learn fingerprinting, deductive reasoning, and methodology.

·          Finally Friday!  A great way to end the week: games, food, prizes.  Don’t miss it!

·          Flashlight Tag – chase each other through the quad with flashlights.  A fun way to burn some calories.

·          Frosted Fridays – decorate cookies and cupcakes with special designs.

·          Game Show! Play various trivia games as individuals and teams to win prizes.

·          Girl Time – Hang out with just the girls.  Beauty tips, face masks, nail painting, crafts.

  • Guitar Club – for those who play a little or play a lot.  We provide the acoustic guitars.
  • KC’s Tourneys – newest staff member KC plans a variety of challenges for those competitive students
  • Name That Tune! - Try to guess the songs in each category.  Buzzers make it like a real game show!
  • Quad Time – Lawn games and fun!  It is also the perfect time and place to practice your musical instrument.
  • Sci Fi Club – watch and discuss old Science Fiction movies and TV shows and learn about their historical influences.
  • Skater Club – For all you skateboarders.  We do everything except skate: videos, discussions, some practice.
  • Stop Motion Animation – Create a video or PowerPoint using photography or digital video.
  • Tournaments – Foosball, bumper pool, air hockey… double elimination with a prize for winner.
  • Warrior Cats - A role-playing activity based on the popular Warrior Cats book series.
