Meadowbrook After-School Program

We do offer program 11:15-6:00 on June 11.

Students who are staying after, but not going on the fieldtrip must report to the gym by 11:20.

• 11:15-1:00 will be open gym time
• 1:00-1:15 snack
• 1:15-3:00 big screen movie in the Multi Purpose Room
• 3:00-4:00 Wii in the Multi Purpose Room
• 4:00-4:15 snack
• 4:15-6:00 Games in the quad or Multi Purpose Room

We will not have our regular gate stand; for checkout, go directly to the gym, MPR, or Quad.

Fieldtrip to Knotts Soak City

• Buses leave front of school at 11:30. Buses will depart Soak City in Chula Vista at 5:00, so depending on traffic, we will return between 5:45 and 6:00.
• No charge for student to enter park – ASES is paying for admission and buses.

Please have students bring limited valuables and money. We will have a staff member at the park watch any bags or backpacks in one area so that students don’t have to rent a locker, but we cannot assume liability. (They will be able to store their backpacks or other miscellaneous items at MBMS.)

What should students bring?

• Swimsuit
• Towel(s)
• SUNSCREEN
• Sack Lunch or money to purchase food
• Optional:
• Water bottle (can fill at drinking fountains in park)
• Flip flops or water shoes

We will provide a free snack at 11:25 and 4:55.

Students will not be able to take snacks or lunch into park, they will be kept in van outside park. Students who bring sack lunch will meet at exit of Knotts at 1:30 to get a hand stamp for reentry and go outside with staff to eat lunch at picnic table.
