GRAMMAR REVIEW: SENTENCE PATTERNS 1 – 8

 

I.  Practice Test:  You may use your sentence patterns lessons in your spiral and/or on my Web site to complete this “practice test.”

q  Circle all letters that should have been capitalized.

q  Add ALL necessary punctuation.

Chapter 6:  Prepositions, Conjunctions, Interjections

q  Take the Diagnostic pre-test on p. 151. (Write answers in the grammar section of your LA spiral.)

q  Read p. 152-161.  While reading, change any answers on the pre-test that you now realize are wrong.  (Cross out the first answer and write the new answer next to it.)  You do not need to do the practice exercises. 

q  Self-correct the pre-test using the key at the front of the room.

q  Take the Mastery Test on p. 165.  Self-correct.  Review again if you missed any answers.
