Social Studies Curriculum
The social studies curriculum will focus on mastering the California S
ocial Science Standards. 
Topics are connected through the use of universal themes such as intolerance and conflict.  
Students will analyze history using  multiple perspectives and critical thinking.
Literature, writing and social studies will be integrated throughout the year.

Social Studies Interactions  Students will use Cornell notes and interact with these notes in the left margin.  These interactions help students to remember and understand the information better because they must review and process the information in new and different ways.
