 Dear Families of E8,

Happy fall!  We've now settled into our regular class routines.  The children have been enjoying our study of dinosaurs.  We'll be celebrating our knowledge of dinosaurs with a simulated "Dino Dig." Then we'll finish "Roc-tober" with our science study of the Earth's layers and rocks. 

Now that we have our homework coming home, be sure to note that the completed contracts are due on Fridays with the completed math pages added (stapled) on the contract.   I'll be setting up the November parent/teacher conference dates towards the end this month via e-mails.  A final reminder, Monterey Ridge will be having our annual Halloween Costume Parade on Friday, October 30th.  The children are most excited!  Enjoy this festive season with your fabulous 2nd grader!                                                                                              Fondly,
