Disneyland is the place to go for fun! It is located in Anaheim which is about 1 1/2 hours north of Poway. It is the home of Mickey & Minnie Mouse.

 It has tons of rides. My favorite ride is the Matterhorn Bobsleds because it's so fast. Space Mountain is another cool ride I like because it's dark and you can't see where you're going! Indiana Jones and the the Forbidden Eye is a good ride because every time you ride on it, it is a little bit different.

 You can do all kinds of shopping in Disneyland, especially on Main Street. This is where they have all of their exciting parades from the latest Disney movies.  Watch out!  Sometimes the floats squirt water at you!

 For the younger kids, Disneyland has the Dumbo ride, a merry-go-round, It's a Small World, and many more slower rides.

 The food at Disneyland is pretty good. They have a nice restaurant called Blue Bayou where you can eat yummy meals. Be sure to get to the park early for breakfast and you can see a lot of the Disney characters and even get their autographs.
