Most of our animals here in Poway come from the desert because we live so close to it. One of the most famous animals here is the coyote. They live freely in the mountains and hills. We also have roadrunners, woodpeckers, California blue birds, gray wolves and hummingbirds of all kinds.

Plants? We have many! We have a lot of eucalyptus trees and yucca plants. But we also have other things like our state flower, the Golden Poppy. Our wildlife is so cool. I don’t know who could beat it.
