Welcome to the training resource center for Poway Unified's implementation of the new student information system, GENESIS. Although our current product, SASI/CLASSxp has been a solid and dependable system for the district for the last 14 years, the manufacturer is not longer supporting the product beginning the 2010-11 school year. As a result, we have spent the past two years search and researching a new student information system. The new product, called Genesis will be deployed for the 2010-11 school year.
Check back to this page over the next few weeks and months as we'll be adding to this site videos, handouts, and holding many interactive training sessions, all in an effort to help familiarize you with Genesis.
