Welcome to the Westwood Elementary Foundation!  

The Westwood Elementary Foundation is an independent, 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of education for the students of Westwood Elementary by providing additional funds and resources that can be used to support excellence in education. 

Accomplishments To-Date, 2008 Priorities, and Project Status

The Foundation has secured almost $150,000 in funding to-date to fund our school's critical projects, but there is much work left to do! We have identified four key fundraising goals totaling $90,000 for the current school year. Here is the status of our current projects.

Ways You Can Help

There are many ways you can help the Foundation raise money to support our school!

1. Don't spend an extra dime!  Just use your purchasing power to support the school.  By signing up your grocery store card through escrip, purchasing gift cards and doing your online shopping through YellowBrick Mall or SchoolPop the school receives a donation from merchants for every purchase you would make anyway.  Just click on any of the links below to find out more about these programs.

2. Give us your email address.  Contact Us so we can alert you when stores have special programs that would benefit the school.  For example, if an office supply store has a sale where they throw in a free case of copy paper with a purchase, we can alert you and ask you to help out at that time.

4. Supercharge your gift! Take advantage of employer gift matching programs.  Just ask your community relations or employee benefits department if your employer has a gift matching program.  Check our list to see if your employer is already on our list - and please contact us and alert us if we should add your employer to the list.
