Summer Fees include all field trip admission fees, guest speakers, a summer t-shirt, and an afternoon snack.

Vacation & Absences
Each Student is allowed two weeks of vacation credit per summer. Credit is given in 5 consecutive date increments only. A two-week prior notice is mandatory for all vacation requests.
Administering Medication
A PUSD Authorization for Medication form must be filled out by the parent and the child’s doctor and given to ESS before we can administer any medication to your child (prescription or non-prescription!) Sunscreen, chap stick and non-medicated cough drops need only the parent’s part of the form filled in.

Lunches & Snacks
There is no Cafeteria during the summer!
Children need a morning snack and a lunch daily unless lunch is provided on the field trip. Please pack your child some extra juice or water in their lunches. Summer is hot & they need to stay hydrated.
Behavior Rules and Policies
ESS follows the school's rules and policies. The rules are made to ensure the students safety and to teach appropriate social behavior. If a student breaks the rules on a regular basis he/she may be suspended from ESS or excluded from certain activities & Field Trips. |
