Congratulations on undertaking the
challenge of an Advanced Placement class!
The culmination of all your hard work is taking the AP Exam.
The registration period is fast approaching so please carefully
review each bullet of information:
1. The cost of each exam will be $92 during the registration
window of February 21, 2009 - March 27, 2009 at 1:00pm.
2. Students must register online at
www.westviewhs.TotalRegistration.net.
3. There are two payment options:
-You can pay online with a credit card and incur
a $4 processing fee per exam –OR-
-You can print 2 copies of the receipt when
instructed online and bring one copy to Mrs. Mangarelli in the Finance Office with your cash
or
check payment by Friday, March 27, at 1:00pm. The cost of each exam is $92; you may write one check for the total exam fee. Make checks payable to Westview and please write student’s name in the memo line.
4. If you want to take an exam that is not listed or need to
apply for a scholarship, please see Mrs. Berner or Mrs.
Mangarelli. Students with financial need may be eligible for a
fee reduction.
5. Late registration and payment window is between March 27 at
1:01pm - April 3 at 1:00pm. There is a $20 late fee per exam,
which will result in a total cost of $112 fee per exam.
6. Stand-by Testing: Students who wish to sign up after the
April 3 deadline will be put on a waiting list and will be
charged a $125 exam fee on the day of the exam, only if an exam
is available. SIGN UP EARLY!
7. Refund policy:
- IF refund is requested before March 27 at
1:00pm, a $5 service fee applies - a refund of $87 will be issued
-IF refund is requested after March 27 at 1:00pm
but before the test date - a refund of $50 will be issued
-IF a student does not show up on the day of the
exam - NO refund will be issued
8. Students with financial need may be eligible for a fee
reduction.
-Deadline to request a fee reduction is
Wednesday, March 25.
-Fee

Office
-Any student using a fee waiver who does not take
an exam will be
required to pay a $25 fee per exam.
9. Students with prior approval from College Board for special
accommodations (extended time, etc.) must see Mrs. Mitchell in
the Wolverine Center by March 5.
10. Students MUST choose a pre-bubbling session on the
registration page before they will be allowed to sign up for
tests. Pre-bubbling administration will take place on Wednesday
mornings in the Westview Theatre at 8:00am on April 15, 22, and
29 - you must attend ONE pre-bubbling session prior to testing.
If your AP teacher signed up for the pre-administration during
class time on Tuesday, April 28, they will inform you and you
can choose that option.
11. Exams will begin promptly at 7:30am for morning exams,
including Wednesdays. All afternoon exams will begin immediately
after lunch.
12. Students are expected to bring:
- #2 pencils (sharpened)
- Black or blue ballpoint pens
- Eraser(s)
- Calculators (when needed)
- Photo I.D.
13. Students must NOT bring:
-CELL PHONE
-PDA
-PERSONAL MUSIC DEVICE (i.e. IPOD)
*THESE ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE TESTING ROOM, WHETHER THEY
ARE TURNED OFF OR NOT, AND POSSESSION DURING TESTING WILL
INVALIDATE THE EXAM.
