Westview among those listed as great schools in San Diego 
The San Diego Magazine’s July 2006 issue featured an article: Top Schools - Surveying the Region’s Outstanding High Schools. “We set out to find great high school in our region,” the article says. “We found eight San Diego public schools that made our “800 Club.” ALL four PUSD comprehensive high schools made that list. That means half of the schools on the list are from the Poway Unified School District! Westview, Rancho Bernardo, Poway, and Mt. Carmel are listed with pictures and narratives sent in by our principals.
