A message from VALLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Good evening Valley parents,

This is Dr. Johnsen calling with updates for next week.

Please remember that this coming Monday, May 25 school will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 26.

I also want to inform you that this week the school board approved Valley's 2009-10 school calendar. The first day of classes next year will be Tuesday, August 4th. The last day of the school year will be Friday, June 4, 2010. You may pick up a copy of the calendar in the office, or you may find it on the school website next week.

I would also like to invite you to our final Coffee with the Principal for the year, on Tuesday June 2 at 8:15 a.m. in the library. At that time I will share with you the latest information on staffing for the 2009-10 school year and answer any questions you may have. I hope you can make it.

Les habla Dr. Johnsen con información para la próxima semana.

Recuerde que el lunes 25 de Mayo es un día festivo y no habrá clases. Las clases comenzarán de nuevo el martes 26 de mayo.

También quiero informarles que el calendario para el año escoalar 2009-10 ha sido aprobado. El primer día de clases será el martes 4 de agosto. El último día de clases será el viernes 4 de junio, 2010. Puede pedir una copia del calendario en la oficina o lo puede ver en el sitio de internet de la escuela la próxima semana.

También quiero invitarles al último Café con el Director de este año escolar, el martes 2 de junio a las 8:15 de la mañana en la biblioteca de la escuela. Voy a compartir la información más reciente de los presupuestos y personal para el año 2009-10. Espero que nos acompañe.
