Dear RAM Country~

With our school year underway, I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your participation at Back to School Night. It was wonderful spending time with the sixth grade parents and then a week later having so many of the 7th and 8th grade parents here was incredible.

It is so nice being at a school where parents are positively involved in the education of their children. We must work in partnership to assure the academic and personal success of each student during his/her educational path at Twin Peaks Middle School. Parent support coupled with student involvement with teachers and the administration working with common purpose will assure the building of the skills and attitudes for your child to be successful at the high school level and prepared for college choices. Thank you Twin Peaks Community for that focus!

I also want to inform you of how Twin Peaks did last year in California Standard Testing our students take in May. It has been in the papers, but TPMS scored an 883 overall. That is a fantastic score! Our school goal is to break 900 and we are looking at data to put a plan together to further build the academic performance overall at TPMS. This 883 score is a demonstration of the excellent staff assuring students are meeting standards as prescribed by the state of California.

It further commends students and parents for taking these tests seriously. Students coming to school on those days and putting out their best effort is very important. Each of you deserves a congratulations for "Reving it Up", a job well done, and we have higher goals to attain this year!
