Welcome to the Land of the Terrapin! 2009-10 is shaping up to be an exciting crossroads in the life of Turtleback Elementary School. As we approach the 20th anniversary of Turtleback's existence, our special little school is experiencing re-birth on many levels.

Most visibly, our facility has been overhauled thanks to the passage of Proposition C in 2008 (http://www.powayusd.com/bond/html/About.html). The improvements have resulted in an environment which is safer, more aesthetically pleasing, and most importantly, more conducive to powerful learning. Of course, Turtleback Elementary School is much more than bricks and mortar. We are dedicated to creating a caring place where all members of our school family are continually learning.

Our Annual Performance Index of 919 out of a possible 1000 points is just one indicator of our progress toward preparing each and every student to be college ready by the end of their high school career. In addition to being an academic powerhouse, I assure you that you will not find a friendlier school anywhere.
