Going "Green"

In order to improve our communication between school and home while conserving our natural and financial resources, we are implementing a “paperless” school. We are not eliminating all paper sent home, but our goal is to minimize the amount of paper that we use by having event information as well as forms, letters and flyers available online. Our plan is to unite the internet, email and our Connect-ED call out system to keep you informed and more linked to school.

At the start of each month, we will send home a hard copy of the entire month's events with the youngest student. Every Sunday evening, a Connect-ED will go out reminding people of the upcoming week's events. Supporting information will be available on the website, including permission or other forms to be downloaded and returned to school. We will have hard copies available in the office for those who do not have computer or internet access.

For those who do have access, please make a habit of checking the website. It is updated almost daily and is a great resource for those who want to stay connected to what's happening at school and to plan ahead for what's coming up. The most up-to-date information on school, PTA and ESS events is always available on the TBES Calendar.
