| Assemblies |
Several assemblies are chosen each year that are presented
to the students ranging from environmental conservation, music, to
friendship and peer issues. |
| Book Fairs |
Our Book Fairs are held twice during the school year.
We can always use volunteers to assist shoppers with their book selections and to
help cashier. |
| Cash for Kids |
This no-hassle, no-sales project asks for a per-student
donation for the school year. |
| CHARACTER COUNTS! |
We continue to reinforce the
six pillars of character - Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility,
Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship. |
| Community Concerns - Food Drive & Adopt-a-Family Programs |
Our school takes great pride in helping others and we
continue to make a tremendous difference in many lives each year with our
Food Drive and our Adopt-a-Family programs. |
| DADS Group |
Dads - come and get involved in your child's class and
around campus! |
| Fifth Grade Promotion |
Sponsored by the PTA, a speaker, decorations, and
refreshments are provided for the Fifth Grade promotion ceremony. |
| Founders Day |
Come and learn about how the PTA
began many years ago. |
| Harvest Festival |
A fun-filled family event and an annual tradition at Shoal
Creek. There are many aspects to this day so we'll be asking for
your help! |
| Kindergarten Pictures |
Our dedicated volunteers are busy the first day of school
making each Kindergartener's day complete with a "First Day of
School" picture. |
| Reflections Program |
Each year the PUSD sponsors a themed program that students
are encouraged to participate in. Watch for details at the beginning
of the school year. |
| Running Club |
One of the children's favorite events but extra help is
needed each week to make it successful. |

| Science Night |
Come enjoy a fun evening of science for the whole family! |
| Staff Appreciation Luncheon |
This is a day to celebrate our teachers and staff with a
luncheon provided by the PTA. |
| Tile Project |
Each year, the PTA provides all Kindergarteners, new
students, and new staff with a ceramic tile to decorate. They are
then added to those decorating our outside pillars and walls on campus. |
| Turkey Trot |
This is a huge success and the kids love it! Each
child gets pledges from family and friends for the laps they will run on
the field. We will need volunteers to help pin lap sheets on the
children, monitor the music, assist with the runners, and distribute
drinks. All proceeds from this event go toward the school's
financial goals. |
