Fun
Run Updates
Our
Fun Run came up short of the $9,000 goal ($5,500.00 profit).
However, the Board approved the hiring of a PE Aide and Mrs.
Joralemon started aiding our teachers with a structured PE
curriculum on January 3, 2007. The school received a
grant from the State for PE and will be purchasing the full
SPARK curriculum (http://www.sparkpe.org/programElementaryPE.jsp)
and supplies for a complete PE program at Rolling Hills.
The
Foundation is very proud to complete the last leg of our
three goals (Art, Music and PE) in our 5th year.
Thanks to all the hard work of our parents and the community
to support the Foundation’s efforts. We hope that
our parents and community sponsors can make additional
donations to our PE program to fill the $3500 gap needed in
the budget.
