What should I put in my ad?
Your name, student's name, a personal message (poem, quote, etc...)
and pictures (sports, hobby, baby, etc...). We recommend no
more than 3 pictures for a quarter page ad and 4-5 pictures for
a half page. Please do not submit any artwork other than your
own. Submissions could be refused to print by the plant due to
copyright laws (trademarks and logos). Be creative and utilize
your space.
Will my original artwork be returned?
The company that produces the yearbook returns the pictures
used in
the book back to the yearbook staff in June. In most cases, your
artwork will be returned. However, since it passes through many
hands, it cannot be guaranteed.
Do I need to adjust my ad to fit the ad size I chose?
No, the yearbook staff will be able to work your design into the purchased
space.
What if I do not know anything about layout and design?
Our ad team will be more than happy to design your ad for you. You
simply provide the information and pictures you would like in
your ad. Our staff will do the rest! If you have an idea of how
you would like your ad to appear, please include a sketch. Feel
free to leave a message for yearbook staff.
Why do ads need to be turned in so early?
Our yearbook plant sets the deadlines, not us. We must know those
numbers by March 12th or you risk not having the ad.
How do I submit an ad?
When you have collected your pictures and written your text, place
them in an envelope with your check and order form. The mailing
address is listed on the the contact page. Group ads are acceptable,
but please only give one senior's name and we will bill only
one person (twins and siblings excluded).
