PSAT/SAT/ACT
2009 PSAT TEST DATE: OCTOBER 14
The PSAT exam is on Wednesday, October
14th. Students can register at the finance
office until Friday, October 2. Bring your
current student ID and $20 to the Finance
office window before school, at break, lunch
and after school. Remember, 10th graders do not
need to sign-up because the test is paid for by the
district. JUNIORS: This is the year that counts
towards the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Even if you took the test as a sophomore you
should take it again as a junior. Please,
see Mrs. Curry in the counseling office
if you have any questions or call her at extension
4564. (THIS IS NOT THE MOCK-SAT sponsored by the
PTSA, it is the OFFICIAL PSAT from the same testing company that makes the SAT exam. Make sure you take this test above all other practice SATs!)
(There is no cost to sophomores
who take the PSAT.)
NOTE: DO NOT confuse
the SAT practice tests (mock, ppsat, etc.) with the above official
National Merit PSAT from the collegeboard.
