At The Rock with Rachel
Remember way back to registration and all that
paperwork???
Specifically, do you remember the white
signature page?
I do realize that the packet can seem a
bit overwhelming but that one little page is very important!
Near the bottom of the page we all signed
as to whether or not we wanted our children’s names, information, and/or
pictures to be used by public means (newspapers, web sites, etc.).
Some parents do check the “No” box.
Why am I telling you this?
Well, in an age when technology is
changing and advancing faster than our kids are growing, it is important
to remember not everyone wants their kid’s picture posted on a public
site.
For this reason, we ask that if you are
taking pictures at school events that you please refrain from posting
the pictures of children other than your own without the consent of
their parents/guardians.
This includes posting on sites such as
Snapfish, Costco Photo, MySpace, Facebook, etc.
Also, please remember that kids who may
not be the focus of the photo often appear in the background and, if
identifiable, then they apply to this rule as well.
Please feel free to contact me if you have
any questions regarding this policy, and I appreciate your cooperation on
this matter.
Finally, I’ve looked in on the items collected so
far for the garage sale… It’s going to
ROCK!!!
And, of course, have a GREAT weekend!
