Just a quick reminder that the PTA Association Meeting/Principal's
Coffee will be on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. It will be held right
after drop off in the MPR. The 2013-2014 PTA Executive Board will
be elected and the Honorary Service Awards will be presented.

Book Fair |
Thank you to everyone
who visited either book fair this school year. We had great turnout
for both events and raised needed funds and book credits for the
teachers and the library. We also hope all of our Painted Rock
students came away with a good book or two to enjoy.
It takes quite a volunteer effort to put on the book fair, and we
are very grateful to all the following volunteers for their time to
assist with the operation:

with items near the front gate in the inner circle! Items not
claimed by the end of the school year will be donated. |

Girl Scout Junior
Troop 8382 "Know and Go Clinic" for 4th/5th Grade Girls |
Painted Rock's Junior
Troop 8382 is hosting a "Know and Go Clinic" that all 4th and 5th
grade girls are invited to (you don't have to be a girl scout).
This is an age-appropriate clinic designed to teach different
scenarios and lures that abductors use to con or coerce kids. This
clinic will teach kids how to be more aware of who is around them
and what to do if.....
The clinic will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd from 5:15 to 6:30 pm
at Manna's Martial Arts and will cost $6. Anyone interested can
