Principal's Corner

Dear Parents,

Earlier this week, your student should have brought home a pre-printed information and consent form for the H1N1 flu vaccinations clinics, which will be held this Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The clinics will be held at the following schools:  Oak Valley Middle School, Bernardo Heights Middle School, Valley Elementary School, and Sunset Hills Elementary School.  If you are planning to attend one of these clinics, you must bring the pre-printed consent form with you and remember that vaccines are limited and will be given on a first come first served basis until the supply runs out.

The clinics are for all Poway Unified School District students and their brothers and sisters ages 6 months to 18 years of age and for pregnant women.

PANTHERS NIGHT OUT AT CHEVY'S

Come join your fellow Panthers for Panthers Night Out at Chevy's in Carmel Mountain Ranch!  You can have a nice dinner and earn money for Painted Rock at the same time (plus no cooking and no dishes!).  Moms and dads can even have lunch there, because the fundraiser starts at noon.  Chevy's gives a whopping twenty-five percent of the cost of each meal to our school, so this is a good one to go to if you can make it!  We will send a flyer home with your child this week, or click here.  Please be sure to give it to the waiter when paying your bill.

Ordering now helps the PTA determine the total number of books to order.  We are only going to purchase a limited supply.  We will NOT order one per student.  Order your book now to ensure you have a copy.  Purchase a yearbook & personalize it by adding your child's name to their yearbook and a special icon to remember activities and interests.  Final day to purchase personalization is 1/8/2010.  PAYMENT OPTIONS: Make checks payable to "PR PTA" and bring check and form to the office.
