UNLEASH YOUR ARTISTIC TALENTS!  EXPRESS YOURSELF!
ARTWORK DUE IN THE OFFICE WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 28, 2009!
The Painted Rock PTA is currently hosting the Reflections Art Program at our school.   This year's theme is "Beauty is..." - encourage your child to produce an original piece of art that reflects the "Beauty is..." theme.  This program allows children to submit one or more pieces of artwork (in the form of drawing, painting, coloring, photography, writing, dance, film or music) to be judged at a school level.
*** The Top 10 pieces will be featured in the yearbook for the entire school to see!

*** The Top 24 pieces are forwarded to the next level of the PTA for additional judging

*** All children participating will be recognized.

Entry forms and additional information are located in the office or visit www.capta.org  and look under 'Reflections' on the left hand side to get the forms online.  You can also view works from previous years.
If you have any questions, please contact Sophia Kallmann at  sophiakallmann@yahoo.com or  Julie Flatt at  julesf@cox.net

THOSE BLUE (FEDERAL SURVEY FORMS) ARE COMING!!

Next week your child will bring home our annual “FEDERAL SURVEY OF RESIDENCE AND EMPLOYMENT” form – OR as we’ve all come to know it – that dreaded “BLUE” form.  DON’T THROW IT AWAY!!

The purpose of this survey is to qualify our District to receive extra funds from the federal government for those parents employed on federal property or on active military duty.  BUT –  In order to get these funds, we must survey ALL students.  Information received from these forms is kept confidential.  The survey forms are stored at the District Office and NOT released to any other agencies or individuals.

PLEASE COMPLETE THE FORM AND RETURN IT ASAP!!  This will save all of us a great deal of time and allow our District to obtain much needed funds.

THANK YOU!!  THANK YOU!!
