One of our fun Programs
throughout the year is the Parents to Lunch days. The kids
really enjoy having you join them for lunch. Following is a list of
the dates and participating grades, so Mark Your Calendars (click
here for the lunch schedule). You can bring lunch for you and
your child, or purchase lunch in the cafeteria (click
here for prices).

Membership
Our Membership Campaign
this year is "Let's Make a Difference". Membership
applications can be obtained in the school office. Membership dues
are $8.00 per person, per year.
Parents and Teachers are not our only members. Grandparents,
Community Leaders, Neighbors and Friends can also join. Anyone that
supports our school and the goals of the PTA is eligible be a
member. Your membership is important to
our PTA Unit, and shows the importance you place on parent
involvement in our Public Education System.
Fundraising and Budget
PTA is a non-profit
organization. It is through Fundraising that we are able to provide
our school, teachers, students and families with the Programs and
Events that enhance our children's school experience.
Any
donation to the PTA, other than the membership dues, is tax
deductible and 100% stays at the school. We also welcome donations
from employers.
For the 2008-2009 School
Year, our PTA will be participating in the following fundraising
activities. If you do not want to participate in them, feel free to
decline. Remember, YOU decide if your kids will participate.
If you would rather make a flat donation to the PTA and not
participate, simply send in a check made out to "Pomerado PTA" in an envelope which says "PTA
donation" and that's that! The bottom line is that the money we raise benefits our school tremendously.
PTA is a non-profit organization, and your donations are tax
deductible.
Volunteer
Our PTA is an
all-volunteer organization. Volunteering benefits our children, and
is very rewarding. Please click here for
