PRIZES, PRIZES, PRIZES
“What did you win?” One of the most exciting parts of the Grad Nite experience is winning a prize. We try to make that happen for every senior at Grad Nite, but we need your help.
Perhaps you or your student received a gift during the holidays that you can’t return. Maybe it’s the wrong size or color or you have one already. Or maybe you sell Avon or Mary Kay, Snap on Tools, T-shirts, or Cookie Lee Jewelry, etc.
No gift is too small as we can put a couple of small gifts together to make a nice prize bundle. We will take donations of actual items as well as gift certificates from restaurants, coffee shops, sports shops, electronics stores, and tickets to sporting events, concerts, and movies, etc. Just think of things or activities that your child or his or her friends might need or like.
Donations can be dropped off at the PHS Front Office, just mark the donation Grad Nite.
Don’t wait!! Get involved NOW!! There are lots of ways to help:
Grad Nite publicly thanks sponsors for donations in any amount.
PTSA Grad Nite is a 501(c) 3 organization so it qualifies for company matching donations.

Construction Site Update: We have secured a construction site and move in on Saturday, March 20th. We will be building and designing the set in Rancho Bernardo. All four high schools will be sharing a set that was donated by Kilroy Realty Corp. We still need help with design and construction. There are many areas to choose from including making a donation of food/water for the workers. We will be working at the site on Wednesday from 6-9pm and on Saturdays from 9-2pm (except holidays). Come for as much time as you can spare and we’ll put you to work. You don’t have to be creative, just willing to help! Contact design chairs Debbie Lambert at Lambertland@cox.net, Brenda Bloom at Hbloom@cox.net and construction chair David Lindsley at dlindsley@echopacific.com for more information.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We plan on moving into the construction site on Saturday, March 20th. We need volunteers! If you would like to volunteer, please Contact design chairs Debbie Lambert at Lambertland@cox.net, Brenda Bloom at Hbloom@cox.net and construction chair David Lindsley at dlindsley@echopacific.com for more information. Volunteers should arrive at the back of the junior parking lot around 8:00 to 8:15 on Saturday. The job entails loading 4 by 8 foot panels from the bins to a moving van, then following the moving van to Rancho Bernardo Business Park, and then unloading at our site. Two trips are needed. If all goes well, we should be done by 2:00. Water and light breakfast are available in the morning, and lunch will be provided at the site in RB. Volunteers should bring work gloves if they have them.
Volunteers needed: If you would like to help on a committee, please contact Jenny Lowe at phsgradnitevolunteers@yahoo.com and you can get involved. Be a part of this amazing experience. There are still both first (8:30pm - 1:00am) and second shift (12:30 - 5:00am) positions available. Grab a couple of friends and work together. You'll have a ball! We will answer your questions and find you a job! There are many ways to help with Grad Nite! Whether serving on a committee to help organize it, making donations, helping with moving the sets and setting up, or actually working the night of the event, it is a great way to rub shoulders with other PHS parents while we create this memorable gift for our graduates! Join in the fun and help make it a big success.
Help Needed for Worker Food: If you are unable to donate your time at the construction site, we could use donations for lunches, snacks, water, soda, ect. Any monetary donation or food donation is enormously appreciated. For more information contact the Worker Food Chair: Helen Jenney at hpjenney@cox.net.
