PHS GRAD NITE - Take me to ATLANTIS
JUNE 21st 2006
|
Parent Volunteers Needed!!!
Sign-up on-line to work Grad Night
Volunteers Needed – Many, many adult
volunteers are needed to successfully put on Grad Nite for our Seniors. We
need Junior parents (or any adult without a Senior) to work the pre-Grad Nite watch from 4-8 p.m. while the Senior parents are at Graduation. In
addition, we need Senior parents, grandparents, relatives and/or friends to work the Grad Nite festivities on Wednesday,
June 21st and 22nd. There are two shifts for Grad Nite – 1st (8 p.m. – 1 a.m.) and
2nd (12:30 a.m. – 5 a.m.).
Please sign up
now to help us make this a fun-filled evening for our
Seniors… email your name, address, phone, and desired shift (you can work
both) to PHSGradNite@cox.net. We
have openings in Games, Prizes, Food & Entertainment that needs workers for
that evening. If you are willing to be flexible – please put OPEN and we
will place you where needed. Thanks.
JUNIOR PARENTS!
IT’S OUR TURN TO KEEP THE TRADITION ALIVE!
Taking down and cleaning up after Grad Nite is a tradition here at PHS for juniors and their parents. After working the all-night party, few of us would look forward to coming back the next morning to take it down. We need YOUR help to clean up and put everything away for next year for your senior! This work gives us a big head start in the planning of Grad Nite 2006, by organizing and planning, as we complete the Clean Up.
The more help there is, the faster it will go. Juniors are invited to participate, as an excellent opportunity to fulfill the 15-hour required community service for Civics class next year. Get it out of the way before school even starts!
HERE’S THE SCHEDULE: (only 2 days this year)
Thursday, June 22nd 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Pack boxes and begin taking down panels
Friday, June 23rd 7 a.m. – 6 p.m Continue to take down panels and pack containers.
Although this is a junior tradition, parents and students from all classes are welcome to help. So, bring your friends, your work gloves, and a cordless drill (if you have one) and we’ll have Grad Nite packed away and ready for the Class of 2007 before you know it! If you’re interested in working on Grad Nite
2006, this is a great opportunity to see what it’s all about. See you there!
