How do I register a new student?

You may personally come to the administrative office at Poway High School to obtain a registration packet. Return the completed packet with 2 original documents proving residency (for example: a utility bill, bank statement, escrow papers, or a rental agreement.). Registration information is also available on the PUSD website at: http://www.powayusd.com/admin/lss/registration/New_Student/. Your student will also need an unofficial copy of his/her transcript and withdrawal grades from the previous school.  Proof of immunization is also required before your student can be registered in school.

My student is having a conflict with a teacher, another student. Whom do I contact?

If the conflict is with a teacher, contact the counseling office at 858-748-0245 ext. 5139.  If the conflict is regarding grades, please contact the teacher directly and then, if you are not satisfied, you contact the student's counselor.  If the conflict is with another student, please contact the discipline office at 858-748-0245 ext. 5105.  Students may also go to the Student Services Office to request adult or trained peer conflict mediators. SAT Standby Testing

If you miss the SAT late registration deadline you may be able to test as a standby.  Test centers accept standbys on a first-come, first-served basis only if they have sufficient space, test materials, and staff.
