Essential Questions

What is the best way to understand text and retrieve that information later on at will.

Students will know will know how to retain focus while reading and engage the whole mind by taking notes and asking questions to be researched later

Students will be able to take appropriate notes which will enhance understanding of both readings and discussions in class. They will also be able to retrive this information on demand for study before tests or when writing essays.

Stage 2 - Assessment Evidence

Students will create notes on readings from their text.


Other Evidence

Initially notes will be checked off in class and discussion about whether they are adequate or not. Later quizzes will be open note and therefor an evaluation of their note taking abilities
