This class will utilize the explosive, Olympic style lifts that will enhance a track athlete’s ability to perform in their event.
Advanced Vocal Technique Gray N-1109 Mon 2:35-4:35
Advanced vocal and choral technique will be presented and applied to choral literature in small and large group rehearsals. By invitation only.
Students will participate in FFA leadership activities and develop public speaking skills, effective event planning skills, parliamentary procedure knowledge and much, much more.
American Film Classics Bailey R-6 Mon 2:35-4:35
This class will explore the history of American Film by looking at 15 classic movies in several genres (types). Every student will do a movie write-up after each film.
ASB Leadership Malvin H-1 Mon arranged
For students who wish to participate in school leadership activities and gain the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to be an effective leader!
Students will learn skills which allow them to perform minor auto body and paint competencies.
Basic welding in respect to automotive industry. Will learn to oxy-acetylene braze and weld. Mig and Arc weld basics will also be taught.
Learn 3D Studio Max Animation software to create animated characters, props, special effects, texturing, and renderings for feature animated movies and video games. 3D Studio Max has been used for many popular movies and video games. See Mr. Dohm in room N-3107 for more information.
An advanced dance class concentrating on jazz and hip-hop with exploration into other dance vantage points. Students will be expected to participate in performances and choreography throughout the year and maintain a 2.0 GPA. For Dance Team members only.
Digital Media Campus Production Kaechele N-3105 Thu 2:45-4:45
Pre-requisite : Intermediate or Advanced Digital Media student OR approval from instructor.
This course is offered for students to cover all campus events. The beat reporters will be assigned coverage video projects including sports events, ASB events, Club events and general happenings on campus. These vignettes are to be packaged together to archive the school year.
Documentary Film Analysis Kaechele N-3105 Wed 2:35-4:35
This class is designed to enhance awareness of the world of documentary films. There has been a phenomenal rise in the popularity of documentaries. Through the viewing and analysis of a variety of documentary films, you will experience film in a new realm of cinema.

Become a member of First Robotics Team A Spyder 1622. Work with students and industry partners to design and build a 2 x 3 x 6 foot robot to compete in San Diego , Los Angeles , and the nationals in Atlanta . We are looking for students to focus on Visual Design, Computer Animation, CAD, programming, and more. See Mr. Dohm in room N3-107 for more information.

Football Weight Training/Conditioning Waasted Ftbll Field Weight Area Tue/Thu 2:40-3:40
This course will include weight training that is geared towards playing football.
Geoscience Study Skills Vasko H-8 Mon/Wed 2:45-3:45
This class will not only give students an opportunity to get extra help learning/re-learning geoscience concepts and standards, but also give students (with D’s & F’s especially) a chance to learn student success skills, i.e. studying and note-taking. I also hope that by more one-on-one interactions, students will gain motivation to learn.

For students enrolled or previously enrolled in ROP Culinary Arts or Foods. A more in depth look at food service, food preparation, and the running of a small on-campus restaurant, The Titan Terrace.
San Diego Fair Projects Kerr S-5 Mon/Wed 2:45-3:45
This class is for students who will be exhibiting livestock projects in FFA and 4-H at the San Diego County Fair. Individual project visitation, fitting, showing and record keeping will be tailored to the student’s needs. Animal selection, nutrition, and health care management will also be covered. Some weekend and night meetings required. Class includes 2 parent/student meetings during the semester.
Allows students to learn job seek and keeping skills/presentation skills/test-taking strategies/contest preparation in specific disciplines.
This course is designed to enhance student’s listening, speaking, and critical thinking skills through debate, informational and persuasive speeches, and dramatic interpretations.
